Thank you kindly for your interest in our riverfront property! With out further delay, the #1 reason why this particular property is such a splendid place for riverfront condos!
#1 LOCATION
This property is located in Needles, California, the “Gateway to the Colorado River”. Needles is CENTERED between the Davis Dam, (just north of Laughlin, NV on the Arizona side) and Parker Dam which manufactures Lake Havasu and Lake Havasu City, AZ. This provides over one hundred miles of waterways and river to navigate!!! See Below:
The unspoiled condo location is adjacent to one of only three bridges, which make it a high profile locality for something big! Our site is accessible by well over one hundred thousand boats annually! Sound unbelievable? Well, it’s true! Boating and watercraft recreation is the #1 reason people flock to “the river”. Needles especially, has some of the most magnificent beaches in Tri-State Area.
Six tour boats per day travel between Laughlin NV and Lake Havasu, AZ which voyage right past said property and under the Needles Bridge mentioned earlier! As most beach resorts, we rely on both winter visitors and summer water related sports activities. Whether it’s fishing, gaming, golfing or boating, Needles is the CENTER of all the fun!!
#2 History
Historically, Needles attracted the railroad so that the steam engines could fill with water from tanks out of the Colorado River. In the early 1900’s, The Crown Jewel of all Harvey House’s (magnificent hotels between Los Angeles and Chicago) was built and named “El Garces” which is presently being restored by Allan Affeldt from Winslow,
Arizona. See above:
#3 Notoriety
Famous and infamous people have stayed at the El Garces such as Wyatt Earp, General Mac Arthur, General George S. Patton and Judy Garland who by the way was the leading star in the motion picture “The Harvey Girls” while filming in the El Garces. The “Fighting Irish” of Notre Dame also stayed there when traveling by train. Needles was the home of Charles Schultz, the author of the “Peanuts” comic strip that we all grew up with and loved. He and his family lived here in his formative years, as his father was employed as a barber. You remember Snoopy’s brother “Spike”? Spike lived with the coyotes outside of Needles and was mentioned twenty seven times in the comic strip! Needles has an exciting and flourishing past and as the old saying goes “History has a way of repeating itself”
#4 Entertainment
As you well know, Laughlin Nevada (18 miles from Needles, CA) is a prime location for any business due to the downsized “Las Vegas atmosphere”! Laughlin Business owners show their expertise in choosing such a location due to the draw of patrons! Make these 10.28 acres your expert choice for developing possibilities. Magnetize the attraction and craft this setting as the connection between the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, AZ to the South and the Tri-State area where over one million people visit per year!
#5 The Vision
I visualize this style of living as being inviting to families, young adults, children and seniors in a array of possibilities. People of all ages, enjoying themselves in the ambiance of a creation that only those with a great developing attribute can bring to the table. How about you? I foresee the boating public going in both directions, north and south, viewing the wildlife, Topoc Gorge, The Sandbar and many of the wondrous sites of the Colorado River while on their way to the Laughlin casinos or Lake Havasu City and just imagine….
Its 100 degrees and you’re ready for a break. No problem! “Boat in”, “drive in” or “take a stroll along the boardwalk” to an awesome, convenient and fun spot such as a Riverfront steakhouse or seafood buffet. Perhaps take a peak in the sequence of waterfront boutiques; pick up that Tommy Bahama shirt you’ve been wanting, or update those Maui Jim’s shades! Maybe you’ll endeavor to savor the new frozen latte’s at the little Coffee Shop and Cafe? Each of these ideas, geared for all kinds of leisurely fun in the sun!
Thank you for you’re your time and interest.
